Made for the way families want to watch
The experience Kidube is built to deliver: calmer screen time, a feed you chose, and a fair deal for the people making genuinely good kids' videos.
“For the first time, every video my daughter scrolls past is one I actually chose. No surprises, no rabbit holes — just the feed I built for her.”
“The Kidube platform is genuinely ad-free, so nothing is trying to upsell my five-year-old between videos. Bedtime got a lot calmer.”
“I write science songs for preschoolers. Kidube pays creators from the subscription pool by watch-time — it finally feels like a real home for kids' content.”
“I set a screen-time timer, and when it's up the screen locks behind a pattern only I know. I can pause or skip from my phone in the next room.”
“Same categories on the iPad and on the TV at grandma's. The little ones just tap their own face and go — no browsing, no search bar.”
“Knowing a real person reviewed every video before it can reach my son is the part that finally let me relax about screen time.”

Kidube's hosted catalog is ad-free — always. It is made of videos creators and parents upload, plus licensed and Creative-Commons content we have the right to host, so there are no pre-rolls, no banners and nothing trying to sell to your child. The one honest exception: if you choose to add an outside video, like a YouTube or Facebook link, it plays inside that platform's official player and shows that platform's ads — exactly as it would on their site. We never download, strip or re-host anyone's video. So the core experience is genuinely ad-free, and you are always in control of which lane a video comes from.
There is no recommendation algorithm pointed at your child, and no open browsing or search. Your child only ever sees the exact videos you assigned, sorted into categories you built — not whatever an algorithm decides to autoplay next. On top of that you get a genuinely ad-free catalog, a creator economy that pays good kids'-content makers, live parental controls, and a human moderation gate. It is parent-curated by design, not algorithm-fed.
Yes — completely. Everything you add is private to your household and your own children: Kidube is a platform you curate for your family, not a public library or feed. Nothing you curate is ever published unless you explicitly choose to — the one opt-in exception is sharing a category as a community Pack, which Kidube reviews before any other family can see it. Your kids only ever see the videos and categories you assigned to them.
Kidube is built for younger children whose parents choose their viewing — roughly preschool through early primary — though there is no hard cutoff, because you decide what is right for your child. Children do not get their own accounts: each child picks a profile on your parent-authenticated device, Netflix-style, and you tailor their categories, screen-time limits and settings individually.
Yes — a parent Insights dashboard shows each child's top categories and most-watched videos, how their watch-time trends over time, and a side-by-side comparison of your kids, on the web and in the apps. It is there to help you curate what they love even better — not to surveil them.
Yes — you can invite up to two other adults, like a partner and a guardian. As the account owner you can grant a trusted adult a “manager” role to help run the kids, curation and billing, and roles are easy to change or remove whenever you like.
Yes — an optional kiosk mode locks the device to Kidube, so little ones can't wander off into other apps while they are watching.
Yes. Kidube runs a creator economy funded by subscriptions, and vetted creators are paid by watch-time — the more their approved videos are genuinely watched, the more they earn. It is designed especially for the kids'-education and music creators who lost their footing when ad-based platforms changed the rules for children's content. Creators track analytics, earnings and payouts in the creator portal.
Child safety and privacy come first. Children are not accounts, we collect only the minimum data we need, and we follow COPPA and GDPR-K. There are no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs anywhere in the kid experience — nothing is profiling your child to sell ads — and no video can reach a child until it has passed moderation review. Privacy here is the design, not a setting.
The iPhone and Android apps are live on the App Store and Google Play, and Kidube runs in any web browser today — plus a Firefox extension for saving videos as you browse. The TV apps (Apple TV, Android TV, Google TV, Fire TV, Samsung and LG) and the remaining browser extensions are rolling out next. Everything stays in sync through one household account, so a video you assign on your laptop appears on your child's phone or the living-room TV right away.
Kidube is €4.99 per household, per month, and it starts with a 7-day free trial. One subscription covers your whole household — every child profile and every device — with no ads funding it and no per-seat fees. You can cancel anytime.
Every household gets 20 GB of upload storage included in the plan — enough for hundreds of home videos and audio recordings, with nothing extra to buy. If you ever fill it, just remove uploads you no longer need.
Yes — refer a friend, and when they join you both get 25% off for three months. It is our small thank-you for spreading the word.
Packs are ready-made bundles — built by Kidube or shared by other parents — that you import into a child's library in one tap. Hosted videos in a pack are human-reviewed and ad-free; outside links (like YouTube) can ride along clearly marked, and they play in that platform's official player under your own family's settings. Kidube reviews every community pack before other families can see it, and you can publish one of your own categories as a pack too.
With Family Circle, yes — in a suggest-only way. You invite a relative with a kid-facing name like “Grandma”; they browse the catalog and suggest videos for a specific child. Every suggestion comes to your approvals inbox, and only what you approve reaches your child — shown warmly as “Grandma added this for you.”
Yes. Buy 1, 3, 6 or 12 months as a one-time payment (no subscription is created on your card) and share the gift code. The receiving family redeems it in a tap; if they already subscribe, their next charge simply moves past the gifted months — nobody is double-charged.
If you allow it. Each child has an independence level: fully curated (default for little ones), “can ask” — a friendly “Can I watch this?” shelf appears on their phone, tablet, web and TV, drawing only from creators you follow — or “can add their own picks” from that same trusted pool with a heads-up to you. Every ask waits in your Approvals inbox; nothing appears until you say yes.
Never. Kidube has no recommender pointed at children — a child only ever sees what a parent assigned. The curation copilot is a parent-only assistant: it suggests videos from the human-reviewed catalog to YOU, and nothing reaches your child until you approve it.
Kidube speaks 11 languages — English, Arabic, Persian, Spanish, Russian, Dutch, French, German, Chinese, Japanese and Korean — across the apps, the TVs and the parent portal, with full right-to-left layouts for Arabic and Persian. The catalog is language-tagged too (with “also in Spanish”-style dub links), so you can curate in the languages your family lives in.
Give your kids a place to watch you can actually trust.
Set up their categories in minutes, press play, and finally relax. Kidube is the world's first platform where you choose every single video — ad-free, no browsing or search, and nothing reaches your kids without your approval.
